Off to St. Paul!

By the time you read this, I’ll be en route to St. Paul, Minnesota, where I’ll be participating in the inaugural Colloquium on Pietism Studies at Bethel University on Friday.

I’m looking forward to the event, which will feature keynote addresses from Scot McKnight, a New Testament scholar and avid blogger, and Jon Sensbach, professor of history at the University of Florida. In the afternoon, I’ll join a cadre of scholars and ministers for a roundtable discussion on “Pietism, Churches, and a ‘Usable Past.'” Here’s the full schedule for the day.

You can read more about the event here.

I’m hoping to blog about the event during and after, so stay tuned!
