Don’t Forget: Storyteller Edgar Moyo at Messiah Village Tonight!

Tonight, Edgar Moyo — a long-time member of the Brethren in Christ Church — will be sharing stories of his childhood in Zimbabwe during a special event hosted by the Brethren in Christ Historical Society.

The storytelling starts at 7 p.m. at Messiah Village. More information here.

    Several of us lived in Brubaker House on the Messiah College campus with Edgar’s father, Mapendhla, during the 1963-1964 academic year. Since Mapendhla was older than the rest of us, we called him “Pop Moyo”. If I remember correctly, Mapendhla served as a translator for Billy Graham during an African crusade.
