TOMORROW: Annual Heritage Service at Ringgold Meetinghouse

The Ringgold Meeting House, site of tomorrow’s annual Heritage Service
(Brethren in Christ Historical Library and Archives)
It’s last minute, I know, but I hope some of the readers of The Search for Piety and Obedience will be able to attend tomorrow afternoon’s annual Heritage Service at the historic Ringgold Meetinghouse in Ringgold, Md.
According to the Brethren in Christ Historical Society, the event will focus on the theme “Core Values Shared by the Brethren in Christ, Old Order River Brethren, and United Zion Churches.” The main speaker will be Rev. John Leisey, pastor of the Stevens United Zion Church. Kristine Frey, editor of In Part magazine, will also be speaking. Ronald Miller will lead congregational singing, and a free will offering for the upkeep of the Ringgold Meetinghouse will round out the afternoon program.
Check out the Historical Society’s website for more information, including directions to Ringgold.
If anyone does attend and is interested in providing a reflection on the event for the blog, let me know! (I’ll be unable to attend.)
